Print the test page on plain paper and hold it over a label sheet against the light. If it is shifted, enter the correction here: positive values move right and down.
How to make shipping labels
Print clear package labels with a "From" and "Ship to" block. Pick a 4″ × 2″, 4″ × 3⅓″ or half-sheet template and the addresses are laid out for you.
Shipping to a list of customers? Paste the addresses from a spreadsheet and every label gets its own recipient.
Tips
- Write the recipient in bold and larger than the sender.
- Use Avery® 5164 or 5168 if you need room for a tracking barcode.
- Print one test sheet on plain paper and hold it against the label sheet before using labels.
Frequently asked questions
Which label size is best for packages?
4″ × 2″ (Avery® 5163) fits most parcels. For larger boxes, use 4″ × 3⅓″ (5164), 3½″ × 5″ (5168) or a half-sheet label (5126).
Can I print a different address on each label?
Yes. Choose "Different on each label", paste your addresses with a header row and use the column names, like {{Name}} or {{Address}}, inside the label text.
Does this create postage?
No. This tool prints address labels. Carrier postage labels with paid postage must be bought from the carrier.
